Vena Portae in Stroud

For the past week Ruben Engzell, Dom Coyote and I have been playing and writing music in a cottage in the Cotswolds. Dom and I first started writing songs together a few years back under the name 'Vena Portae' during a residency at Battersea Arts Centre. Ruben and I haven't worked together for years but he produced and engineered my debut solo album 'Photos.Fires.Fables.' So it's been a joy to collaborate once again. We've spent our time reworking songs, arranging parts, collecting sounds on walks through the woods, sampling sounds and writing new material. Here are a few photos I took over the week...
And to finish off, a live demo video of a song called 'Stingrays' that Dom and I wrote in Hamlin Bay, Western Australia on 11th April 2010- according to a notebook I found after much searching.
