The Frank Turner tour

Sadly, our tour with Frank Turner and Against Me! is now finished. We have had THE MOST INCREDIBLE TIME! There'll be loads more photos soon from the official tour photographer Gregory Nolan, but in the meantime, here's a few that Anna Jenkins, Matt Nasir and myself have taken.

Fields of June featuring Frank Turner

On Tuesday of next week we hit the road with Frank Turner and his band The Sleeping Souls. We've not only got the pleasure of opening the six UK shows, but we're also joining him on stage for their headline set!
And...Frank will be joining us during ours to sing this here duet I wrote called 'Fields of June.' Here's a video of the song which we recorded in a studio in Hackney last week (it will be available as a free download very soon)...

Final two headline shows + Crunch Festival


So we're almost at the end of our UK headline tour with just two shows to go which are...

Then we start our tour supporting Frank Turner! But more on that later...


We're also pleased to say that we've been invited to play at this year's Crunch Festival which celebrates art and literature.
We play at 5:30pm in the Globe Hall on Sunday 20th November.
Also on the bill are British Sea Power, Chris TT, many other bands and incredible writers, film makers, artists, curators and more.

We're over the moon to be included on Dermot O'Leary's 'The Saturday Sessions 2011' which features exclusive live sessions from the likes of Florence + The Machine, Villagers, Adele, Eels, John Grant, Robbie Williams, many more and...us!
'Pause' was the chosen song taken from the live BBC radio 2 session we did with Dermot back on 18th June this year.

October Tour Diary Part 3

Mainsgill Farm shop chickens near Scotch Corner Roundabout where we stopped for a fry up after Newcastle show.

Leicester market (which is the largest outdoor covered market in Europe and is over 800 years old!)

Gill Sandell sound checking in Elgar Room, Royal Albert Hall. Check out the bright red piano (apparently Elton John's.)

And EP's Trailer Park also sound checking, we love these guys.

We stayed with our dear friends Patti and Marcus in Portsmouth and had cake for breakfast : )

Then lunch with other lovely friends Pauline and Jonathan near Salisbury.

which was beautiful.
