In the Winter I Returned (Live Acoustic)

So some of you will know that I've been busy over the last 6 months writing what will be our 4th album. For the first time ever, I've written to a concept which is 'Home.' You can read a bit more about it in this old blog post: Ideas of Home
I'd like to share with you a song from the forth-coming album called 'In the Winter I returned.'
It's a song that remembers first arriving in a new country (England) and noticing all that is different compared with Australia (my birth place.) An important thing to note when listening to the lyrics, is that in Australia swans are black...hope you enjoy.
Thanks,
Emily

ps. myself and The Red Clay Halo will be recording the new album in June this year up in Glasgow at Gorbals Sound studio with Calum Malcolm.

Vena Portae in Molnbo

Hello,
I have a side-project called 'Vena Portae' involving band members Ruben Engzell (producer/engineer of Photos.Fires.Fables. also part of EP's Trailer Park) and Dom Coyote (theatre maker, musical director, Folk in a Box, husband.)
We're currently making our first album in Molnbo, just south of Stockholm in a beautiful, rickety, old house.
To keep up to date with what we're doing, please check in here from time to time: Vena Portae
