The Next Record

The Red Clay Halo and I have spent the last 7 days in a big, beautiful house in South Norfolk, in a village near Beccles working long days and into the nights arranging all the songs for the next record.
We had 15 songs to look at and work out parts for before the hard task of whittling the list down to 13. Ted Barnes joined us to play guitars and banjo as well as Nat Butler on drums and our producer Calum Malcolm popped down from North Berwick to check up on our progress. Calum will be recording, mixing and mastering the album. We start making the album as of this coming Friday! We'll be heading up to Glasgow in Betty the Berlingo, filled to the brim with our instruments and selves, to begin making what will be our fourth album. Recording will take place in Gorbals Sound studio. You can have the virtual tour by going here: http://www.gorbalssound.co.uk/
